Fact of the day: Roy Hodgson took Fulham to the europa league final where they knocked out Ukrainians in Donetsk. Beat Italians in the next round, defeated Germans in the semi finals and lost to a Spanish team in the final.

Fact of the Day 2. The last ****e team to win the Euros was Greece in 2004 the same year they hosted the Olympics

Fact 3. Joe Harts real name is Charles

Fact 4. Ashley Cole has now made more major competition appearances (21) than any other English player past or present.

I thought Juve was the last 16, before playing Wolfburg in the Quarters and Hamburg in the semis?

Thats right, then lost to Atl. Madrid in the final. Only problem is Fulham had Zamora, how on earth are we going to win without him ..... :whistling:

Fact 5: Despite criticism of England's style of play, only Germany played fewer long passes than England did in the first two round of group games at Euro 2012.

Fewest as a counting stat or as a percentage?

As a number. It probably helped that we didn't have the ball very often in the France game.

Does anyone know if lightning strikes twice? :hilarious:

Ashley Cole is also the highest-capped full back and the highest-capped black player.

I watched ITV4's greatest England goals last night. In 2001, when Beckham scored the free-kick against Greece, a young Ashley Cole was playing. That means he has played international football for 11 years. Amazing achievement.
