Entrance music

Does anyone know the full title and/or the composer of the entry song Southend play just before they run out onto the pitch?

I don't mean the Bolero track from Moulin Rouge, I mean the one that sounds like the old Gladiators track.

Thanks.

There are so many different bits of music that are played that its difficult to know which one you are referring to. However, the only bit that I can remember being used on Gladiators was "Get ready for this" by Two Unlimited. Strange that this should be used because it was the tune that got the away end rocking at Sheffield Wednesday in 1992!

I know exactly which bit he means it goes:
Tra da da da da da daa, drum drum tra da da da da da da daa trum dum. There might of been a la de dum dar in there but for the less musicaly trained ear that could be misinterpreted.

If your talking about the entrance music that is many different songs mixed together then that's Jock Jams - Let's Get Ready To Rumble.

Sounds a bit like the Romford / Dagenham area to me

Nope.  Knowing the nice neighbours where McNasty lives it's definitely Cricketfield Grove in Leigh he's talking about!
