Action Comics... very rare now due to the graphic content and gore. If you see a good condition annual at a boot fair, buy it.

Buster and Cor! I used to get that.

Wasn't a member of the Dennis Menace club but I did join the Airfix club thing, Dick Emery was the patron.

I still have issue one of Roy of the Rovers. Dexter looked like Buzz newman. Shame I didn't keep the wall chart as it'd be worth a few bob.

I progressed to Mad Magazine and Viz. Which I still buy. Sometimes I buy 2000 A.D. if Simon Bisley does the artwork. Fantastic. Slaine. Eat my Axe.

In no way am I a comic book 'geek', but I have a mint 2000AD from 1979 and loads of Star Wars ( Episode IV A New Hope ) comics which I hope will pay for my ( early ) retirement

Just a regulation geek.

I was always a Marvel fan, though I was always bought Beano and Whizzer & Chips annuals for Xmas.
