Indeed, it is rare that we hear of them as young as he was when he was with us though.
 
What a joke though, that we got just £37k and Palace will get £50k. Chances are he goes to one of the bigger clubs and they then sell him for millions in a few years time?

To be fair we 'sold' him when he was 13, there's no guarentee he would have done as well if he hadn't moved to Palace. Plus the kid is only 15, for all we know he could be like Lee Sawyer, a big team youth player who ends up in the conference.

That's the headline fee though. There's incentive payments as well which ramp up depending on first team appearences.

Also we would have got possibly nothing before EPPP. While the fees are questionable, at least we are guaranteed them. This also outlines the need for us to be a Category 2 club as this might not have happened (I don't think Category 2 clubs can take from fellow Category 2 clubs) and the fee we received would have been higher.
