Expectation

Im having trouble coming to terms with the past week, no not 2 loses on the trot but a week that has seen the Southend faithful slate the team for various reasons.

Now we are playing great football, we have a management team that has signed players that have the ability to get us out of this god foresaken division, Players who seem imensly proud to pull on the Blue of a Southend United shirt. A Chairman (i know his not) who doesnt mind putting his hand in his pocket for the good of the team, A stadium that is reclaiming its self made title of Fortress Roots Hall due to US fans getting behind the team and making some noise. Oh and were currently 7th in the league going into Decemeber.

Just a few positives above, which i understand breeds expectation. However does expectation give people the right to slate, abuse, proclaim to want to shoot the players that have helped create the expectation?

Lets cut this crap out now or WE will be the reason why we dont get promoted this season because before long this b******s will poor over from the message board to the ground and that will effect the progress that has been made in the name of Southend United Football Club.

Exaclty, and when Eastwood made such a good impression on loan, he had high expectations of him when he signed. Since then he's hardly delivered, but just needs time to settle and hopefully our expectations will be not out of control and over critical.
