They sell these whitening creams in Supermarkets over here, apparently aimed at Indians where the market is massive. It's been proven that they don't work but somehow the marketing has been so good that many are addicted to them, believing their lives will fall apart if they stop using them. I guess it's the equivalent of "tanorexia" in the West but a touch sadder........
