FC Business Article

Interesting find Napster, maybe the club would not comment because the agreement between Sainsburys and SUFC has not yet been finalised and signed?

From the last tx message i recieved from RM 31.08.10 pm when he answered some on my questions in a round about way he indicated that when we SUFC & Sainsbury jointly sign the procurement contract's he will announce further details.

So nothing has been signed and sealed at this present time, i have showed this tx message to Mcnasty & Cricko at the weekend

Certainly seems to be a model that sainsburys and tescos are embracing up and down the country, and may explain some of the delay, culminating in sainsburys coming out as our benefactor. It might be than Ron was playing sainsburys and tescos off against each other to get the highest price. It was interesting that almost as soon as the club confirmed the link up with sainsburys, tescos announced they were taking over the old B&Q site. maybe tescos were after Roots Hall as well, as it is much closer to a lot of housing. These sort of negotiations would create significant delay, and would be kept confidential for many commercial reasons and there is huge competition between these retailers for the best sites.

Million dollar question is when the digging starts??
