Yes, one of those Hopper chances should have hit the net

We've nullified them well for the most part but we really need to turn this possession into goals. FGR are well-organised and definitely have a break or set piece (or Southend mistake) in them.

One goal could be enough to settle this one.

Here are Roots Hall and I have genuinely spent virtually the whole half getting up and down for people to get past. Seems everyone is using our row as an exit and entry point. Think I've missed most of the half

Thought we ruled that half, composed on the ball (probably enjoying the superb surface) and intense pressing out of possession. On and off the pitch they looked subdued, and worried. That said they rallied last ten and it’s nagging me we didn’t get the goal that the performance deserved. Suspect the freak up top will be removed at the break and that may change things. Need to see more from Leon. COME ON BLUES!!
