Parents just said i'm not allowed Sky in my room coz they don't beleive me i'll pay them the bill for it, so i'm resulting to freeview. It says on their website you can't view it in the Southend Area, but the bloke in Currys says you can?

Does anyone own a freeview box and lives near the ground. If it works ok i'll make an investment, so i got Sky Sports news on my tv 24/7

My mate has one in hockley. But I know that Freeview is a bit dodgy in thi area, and it doesn't work everywhere in this area. I would do further research if I were you.

They told me it wouldn't work in the Brentwood area either, but I don't have any problems recieving it....

I know a few people who have it..Cambridge road it works, but a little dodgy, town centre area seems ok, Rochford seems ok too and Shoeburyness aso seems ok.

Sky is the better option, or Telewest but if you have no choice you should get freeview.

I may be wrong but i think you can get a booster to help with the signal.

I don't think it is the bill they are worried about.

Tell them they can put a parental control on it

Trust me, television X is a load of sh!te.

I know someone who lives near Sutton Road/East Street roundabout and they have it fine.

Receiving it loud and clear in Leigh on sea. I also know at least 3 people who were told they wouldn't receive it in their area but took a chance and it works fine.
