24.5 stars with only 3 first team regulars - Can't be too unhappy with that.

1132 spectators arrived at The Golden Cross Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Although the formal home team was tigers, the spectators were of course much preferring Shrimperzone.

Shrimperzone held the ball, with a clear 64 percent possession rate. The most dominating tigers player was without a doubt Joris Dorey. However, Neil Fumagalli made a disastrous appearance. Most important Shrimperzone player was Jesús García. René Utz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.

Thorpe Bay Utd - Rochford FC  2 - 7
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Garons Park saw a crowd turnout of 176. Thorpe started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Brinkman - Levy, Perelman, Vega, Lecarpentier - Waldispuhl, Moore, Gómez, Ortenburg - MacEachern, Boost.

Thorpe saw most attack opportunites on the wings and were directing their passes that way. Rochford saw most attack opportunites on the wings and were directing their passes that way. After 23 minutes Rochfords Emil Kużdżał made his way through the middle, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Rochford came close to extending their lead as Stan Körnig delivered a long range shot from the right but the angle was too sharp, and the shot hit the side of the goal. Thorpe's Gert Perelman scored 1 - 1 by shooting accurately and hard from a long distance, leaving the opponent goalie no other option than to pick up the ball from the net. Rochford took the lead in the games 33rd minute with 1 - 2 after some elegant plays down the middle. Wienus Beynen was the scorer. Antonio Agramunt increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 1 - 3. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 3. Rochford, bringing the final ball possession rate to 69 percent, dominated the battle.

Maxime Waldispuhl was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the enemy box - Euan MacEachern managed to kick one of them into 2 - 3 in the 47:th minute. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 60:th minute Rochford goal, making it 2 - 4. Stan Körnig was noted down as the scorer. Won 5-2 in Belgium in front of two men and a dog. Last time I travel to a bloody league VII side, I lost over £3K on that friendly.

Still, took the risk of taking no bench with me - I've got a couple of injuries and didn't want to risk any more - and luckily didn't come unstuck.
