Also Peter Miles just mentioned Njie has been offered a deal too.

Anyone know what type of player Auger is. What can we expect from him in the future?

Brown rated S. Nije on official site so there am chance we could be seeing him play Vs York or Morecambe. Its good that Brown is looking at our youth team. As an Legia fan, it's always important to see good young polish players pulling on a Legia shirt.

Good to see some youth players being played now , i also wonder if Brown has discussed with Martin the prospects of entering a reserve team in a league somewhere next season, i think its a must in the developement of these young players and also the rehabillitation of senior players coming back from injury.

What League would you suggest ?

Unfortunately that is the problem, the lack of leagues they can enter. Maybe it's time the under 18 leagues allowed perhaps three or four over age players, would partly solve the problem.

Well as i see it, its the reserve side thats participates in the Essex senior cup so why can they not also participate in the Essex senior league, that is if there is one, when i last lived in Southend it was the Borough Combination, sorry im not up to what the leagues are called there now, but surely there has to be a league they are able to enter there. Also Dloman has a raised a good point too, they do that here with the national youth league ,allow i think 3 over age players to play.

The ESL is step 7? I believe on the pyramid and I believe is semi-pro, so we can not enter a team in to that league. However, the Borough comb. is a different story as although it is on the pyramid it is amateur. It just couldn't happen though as both these leagues games are played on Saturday's at the times Southend are playing so not sure it could work to be honest.

May have been mentioned elsewhere but obviously we've offered professional deals to Pinnock, Njie & Auger, with development deals to Agyakwa, Tatham & Edwards.

Saw this tweet yesterday from @RobertCraven82:
Congratulations to @Jackopayne1, @MitchyPins and @TedSmith96 on finishing 1-2-3 in the @ShrimpersTrust Youth Team Player of the Year Awards.

I asked why Payne seems to have been ignored with regards to a new deal and the reply was:
Still waiting to hear. Unfortunately he's been injured since Phil Brown arrived at the club.

Which explains a little as to why he's currently not been offered a deal. I'm no expert on the youth, but whenever I see match reports he seems to have played well or scored and the fact that he won Youth Team Player of the Year this season goes to show how well he has done. Surely worth at least a development deal regardless of whether PB has seen him play, as he beat Pinnock to YPOTY and Pinnock got a pro deal.

That's also disregarding the fact that Ted Smith doesn't seem to have been offered a new deal, although judging by his Twitter name maybe he's a first year scholar and still has another year to go anyway.
