Afternoon all,

We've taken the step to get in contact with you all on here as we want to get as many names as possible - of those who have sadly passed - for the game against Plymouth Argyle, on Saturday 10th January.

To ensure we don't forget anyone, we're asking you to simply leave the name(s) of anyone associated with Southend United, in replies to this post.

Please note, we will not be responding to any general queries, and have only taken the step to post on here to get access to more names for all of us to remember prior to kick-off.

Thank you for your support

For more details on the 'Game to Remember' click here.

The last day to submit names is 31st December 2014.

Regards,

SUFC

I have emailed but got no reply. Can you please confirm that the following are already listed

Dave Napper
Irene Napper
Steven Hurren

As you're doing earlier years as well, I'll go a long way back with the first of these, as he'd have given me a clip round the ear if I didn't.

John Welham
Malcolm Roberts

Paul Chidgey, long time and much loved teacher at Kents Hill Juniors. The school still has a weather vane with the SUFC crest on (until the Colchester Utd supporting HT decides to get rid of it) made in his memory by the father of two youngsters who had gone through school having had him supporting their learning.
