George Wind

Im sure GW is learning all the time and his time will come believe it, and he wont be just a RB , i think he will have learnt the roll of a RWB by that time . Who knows maybe even a LWB .

Interestingly, my nephew who is the same age as GW, and went to the same school as him in Billericay. Was a bit miffed, when I told him GW was now a defender for the blues. As GW was apparently the fastest lad in the school and also made a bit of a name for himself as a goal scorer!

Why couldn't GW be used to push GSM upfront more, Gus seem to stop scoring when he had to get back to defend. Im not sure when he stopped scoring, but I wonder if it happened when the tactics changed?
I don't think gus has the pace to be effective in that way. He seems to thrive arriving from a RWB deeper position where he doesn't get picked up so easily.
I've no doubt your thoughts will have been tried a fair bit in training though.

GSM spends most of his game going from attack to defence, so he must be able. How many times was he on the wing at Wembley. I would just love GW to be included in games, as there must be other positions he can play. He just seems to be the forgotten man at Southend, and I don't care what others say, it must effect him. He wouldn't be a professional footballer if he didn't have drive and will to win.

I have to be carefull, I don't see the games, so anything I say is farely irelivent. But according to you guys, wind is a decent player. I do understand the GSM situation, and 3 at the back with wingback. But can GSM play right midfield with Wind at wingback. I'm sure you have all been down this road many times.
