While were are on top we are in pole position - but Swansea in fourth & Scunthorpe (third) have three easy games whereby I can see both of them getting 9 pts

Puts the pressure on us as Swansea have a decent goal diff also

Yoevil are the ones in danger I feel they have to play us & Lincoln out of there last 3

I wouldnt say Swansea having to go to Bristol and Scunny going to their local rivals Grimsby this Saturday are easy games!!...

This weekend the league will take its final shape i believe.

All the teams up the top have tough games on Saturday, including us...there will be points dropped, hopefully not us!..

I have complete faith.

The goal difference of all the top 4 is very similar.

Also, I wouldn't call this Saturdays games easy for either Swansea (B Rovers) or Scunthorpe (Grimsby). Both away, both against local(ish) rivals, especially for Scunny.

Lets hope so, what a way to celebrate St Georges day!..

Fingers crossed Swansea do lose but we have played Rovers twice recently and they are a poor side lets be fair

No, we don't.

If we win our next 2 games then we're up automatically whichever way the results go.

We would be on 83 points, while Yeovil would only have 79points!

Rover are the draw specialists, they score quite a few but also have trouble holding a lead and concede a lot.

I'd take a draw and if they could do the same against Scunthorpe as well, so much the better.

Cheers

Rovers have only lost at home once all season. Won 8 and drawn 12.

Can really see (and hoping) they can nick a draw. Got to remember although Swansea and Scunthorpes games look easy on paper, both are pretty match derby matches for them. Grimsby and Scunthorpe have a disliking towards each other as well. We all only know too well what can happen in derby matches!

Looking at the remaining games, I see this weekend as being critical for all concerned. For what it's worth, here's how I see it panning out:

23 April
Bristol V Swans Draw Local derby, Bristol don't lose many.
Grimsby V Scunthorpe Draw Another fierce local derby. Can't see Scunthorpe winning this one.
Northampton V Lincoln Home Win Make or break for Northampton's play-off chances.
Oxford V Southend Away Win No surprise, but I think we will be really up for it after last night. Got a good record there too.
Yeovil V Wycombe Draw Wycombe won't be easy, and Yeovil's form is still very iffy.

30 April
Lincoln V Darlington Home Win Just.
Scunthorpe V Bristol Home Win Just.
Southend V Yeovil Home Win Just.
Swansea V Shrewsbury Home Win Easy.

07 May
Bury V Swansea Away Win Easyish.
Grimsby V Southend Draw We always struggle at their place. Plus we should be up by then.
Shrewsbury V Scunthorpe Away Win Probably some flukey last minute goal knowing them.
Yeovil V Lincoln Draw Both teams could need the points.

This would result in:

1 Shrimpers 84
2 Scun 82
3 Swans 81
4 Yeovil 78
5 Lincoln 75

I'm probably being a bit harsh on Yeovil, but we'll see. It's going to be very tight whatever.

Can I borrow these please?

EDIT
Bollox - why cant I post an image of rose tinted glasses ?

A win for us Sat, dropped points for Scunny and Swansea and then we beat Yeovil title is ours. If the above happens what an atmosphere for the Yeovil game. If Scunny and Swansea don't drop points at the weekend, what an atmosphere at the Yeovil game. Bottom line is - can't wait for a rockking full house cheering the boys on come the 30th!!

Lets not worry about the other teams results too much, we have been fortunate with them recently, but i do think Swansea will win, Yeovil draw, and Scuny lose this weekend
