I took a shot from kick off once. We had just let a goal in to go 2-1 down and only had a minute to half time so I thought, "why not"...I hit the bar just where it meets the post with the keeper beaten all ends up!

good work! I tend to find that shots from kick offs are quite common in amateur footy, especially if the team has a dodgy keeper, and even more so if he can't take a returning goal kick!
