Greatest TV series

I remember a TV series called The Quest with Kurt Russell in too, from the 70s. That was always required viewing in our house. Hart to Hart....Petrocelli....lots of US TV series were good around that time.

Cagney and Lacey was the big one for me growing up. For a soft sort for Petrocelli too. Did he ever move out of his mobile home into his house?

Plenty of my faves listed already from The Sweeney to Sopranos.

A couple of less well known would be

Underbelly ( Auzzie true crime/dram)

Rescue Me. (NY Fire department after 9/11)
I was forced to watch this by a girlfriend and thought i would hate it. Just like the Sporanos it tackles tough subjects with out pulling any punches.

The original Survivors from the 70's. The remake was awful in comparison.

Loads on here that I have watched, but I'd like a shout out for The Beiderbecke Affair.
The comic timing of James Bolam and Barbara Flynn is superb.
