Didn't get back for this one but thanks to lax copyright laws, managed to get hold of one highlight in particular.

Freddy picks the ball up form a defensive mistake runs the ball inside before wrong footing the keeper by shooting wiht his left peg low and hard to the keepers left.

Game finished a slightly disappointing 1-1.

Pop quiz: Who missed this game through suspension?

Wasn't it Maher?
After his continual spate of autumn yellow cards for moaning at refs?

Yes, it was Maher, but I think it was a suspension for his red card at Yeovil, rather than one of his numerous bans for mouthing off.

Incidentally, is there an amensty in April for yellow cards if you are over 10 yellow cards?

By my maths our captain has picked up 14 yellows this season (including the two at Yeovil), if he gets another yellow v Yeovil will he be banned for the final day of the season or does his two at Yeovil count as one.

Interestingly his last 5 bookings have come in the last 5 games we've dropped points in. This mirrors the start of the season when he got booked in our first four defeats of the year and the home draw - our only decent result in that time was an away draw at Lincoln in which he wasn't booked.

Interesting really. Goes both for and against Maher. Why did he let the team down by getting sent off? How much did the team struggle without him?

The way I read HK Blue's post, if Maher doesn't get booked again this year, we will win the league!

Not sure how many people will laugh but it's funny that Maher could get sent off again, against Yeovil and miss the Grimsby game as a result. Sadly, 1-3 and 1-1 won't do this time around I feel.
