Happy 30th Birthday Commodore 64!

There sure are, spent hours in a darkened bedroom programming in 6502! Ah, halcyon days my friend......

Tad before my time my first computer was a Commodore Amiga 500+

Such great days!

Pah! The Amiga was only a badge of honour if you'd experienced upgrading from your Vic 20 to your Commodore 64 first.

Loading game... eeeeeeeeeerhrhfgp blrrreghreghghghg eeepeh epepe

Thank you Mastertronic for your contributions to my childhood.

As far as I remember, the Vic20 or C64 made no noise when it loaded from tape? I bought a floppy disk drive for about £150, huge great 5 1/4" things!

I had a Commodore 64 as a youth and it taught me many things but it didn't teach me how to get off the streets of Golden Cross and become a ****ing hustler.

Last time we got ours out (the C64) it still worked along with the original Atari Gaming system. Never cheated at Hobbit and never got remotely near completing it. Much like the book which I tried a few years back. C64 was a groundbreaker.
