What concerns me is that having identified set pieces as an issue, we've signed a keeper who is crap at them and one average sized, fairly inexperienced centre back.

Sign a commanding keeper and a big centre back and you're half way to improving the situation. We desperately need a half decent defender with experience as soon as possible.

Luke Prosser and Cian Bolger were both 6ft 3 and decent centre halves (OK it took them both a while to establish themselves). But wait, Brown blamed them for that Swindon defeat and successfully ostracised them from the squad...nice work Phil!
