He's come on last night in a difficult set of circumstances, while I personally didn't think he was the right one to come on (certainly not where he did anyway, why on earth did Timlin have to go to left back?!) presumably there was a reason behind it. The timing of Dicko's injury so soon after was unfortunate and just added more pressure.

He played well at Gillingham, that was in an attacking role. He's so often been called upon to play as part of a central three that I just think he's kind of lost his focus a bit. This is where a decent set of reserve fixtures would be useful!

Definately agree there.

Just think he has been pretty poor lately and needs to step it up. Pheraps his ego has got bigger!

Stupid thread!

A sense of positivity is streaming through the club, seemingly because of the team-spirit that we've witnessed over the last two games. These are the players that will or will not get us promoted, lets give them that extra push and show we support them 100%. Up the Shrimpers

Wish we would of sold him, been very poor lately and was shocking yesterday.

Sideways merchant that if his name wasn't Ferdinand wouldn't get a game.....half our trouble and the other name is Kalala!

Not trying to influence peoples view then...

Far from being shocking yesterday, I thought he played with an intelligence lacking in your illiterate post.

Still, if he was shocking the other 8 who kept Crawley at bay with effectively a three man advantage must have been exceptional.

Thought he played ok yesterday. Came on about a minute before we went down to 9 men, so from then on his job was to help stop any attacks and thought he closed down pretty well. He will never be the type of player to take the ball from defence, go on a 30-odd yard run and then split the opposition with a perfectly weighted pass, he was a CB/RB before he came into the first team, so what do you expect.

On another note, thought Grant did well, and doing what he did best, disrupting the opposition's tempo and winning freekicks, and Timlin was quite poor and maybe should be left out the team for a bit. Would like to see Grant and Sawyer in the middle with possibly Hall and Martin on the wings, if Hall has recovered fully.

Leave Jack alone you mugs - the boy is only trying to gauge general opinion set against his own!

Love the way most of you sit behind your keyboard and just slate a young passionate fan who is the future of our support!
