Great story about Exeter going to Brazil next year to play a friendly in the Maracana against Fluminese as part of a 100th year celebration of a historic match in 1914. Can you imagine the Blues playing there? More importantly, would you go? What is the furthest afield you have travelled to watch the Blues? Fiorentina,Cosenza anyone??

I wouldn't go to Brazil, because the two weeks' notice the club would give wouldn't really give sufficient time to book reasonably priced flights and arrange time off from work.

Well done to Exeter for planning this so far in advance!

I'd go if it was end of my street. Otherwise I'd just follow teletext- better atmosphere.

How long is your street though ?

Id go 330 miles. Thats how far Ill have to drive on the first game of the season as Im on holiday.

Other than that I wouldnt go anywhere, far too lazy and If Im going to spend money going abroad Ill spend it taking the family. Now if Southend played in Orlando that would be interesting !

Some funky website says the last away game of the season (Fleetwood) is 11,685 miles away from me. Be well worth it for a relegation conga!

mr t spotter went to Bermuda believe he was the only one there

Hamilton Academicals v Southend in the 80's for a pre season friendly. We saved up our Mars Bar wrappers and got a return coach fare to Glasgow for a pound. Lost 4-0 I recall. Got surrounded by Catholic Academicals fans during the game for having the audacity to unfurl our United union flag and were then rescued by Protestant Academicals fans. Bizarre weekend!

Sat 30th Dec 2006 drove 540 miles from NW Scotland to Coventry to watch us draw 1-1 (Gower from a sublime back-heel by Harold) and then turned round and drove straight back again.
