There seems to be a vast difference of opinion as to whether or not we will make an immediate return to League 1 or if we are heading for the Premiership ( Blue Square that is ).

So how many seasons do you see us languishing in the fourth division or below ?

I foresee three unfortunately.
2010/11 another dire year, finishing about 15th
2011/12 late run just missing out on (or in) the playoffs
2012/13 automatic promotion (winning at ColEwe last game of the season)

my optimism has been drained! so will go for a play off loss, followed by a play off win.

Next season will be for rebuilding, and therefore consolidating. Following one hopefully we get into playoffs and then, who knows.....?

Don't think it will be next season. I'd like us to consolidate next season and have a good season, but I really just want us to steady the ship, pay the players on time an make Southend an attractive place to come and play football.

Hopefully the new stadium will commence in June (fingers crossed) and once thats complete hopefully Ron will invest in some new players for the 2011/2012 season ready for a decent push at promotion to get us into League 1. Ron would / must understand that as good as the stadium looks on paper we will need higher football than league 2 to bring home the bacon.

Two or Three.

First will be a mid-table finish.
Second will be a play-off spot and if we lose in the final .....
Third we will go up automatically thanks to a final day win at home.

Two at best.

Rebuild next season and try and aim for as high as possible and maybe promotion in the second season....

Three to five years. Tilly needs to completely rebuild the squad, and forge them into the sort of unit which is willing once again to sweat blood for the cause of SUFC. That won't be done overnight.

Cannot see us bouncing back immediately at all. We have to turn around a club that has got used to failure, and that doesn't happen overnight.

Think we'll miss out this year, as there's likely to be alot of new faces and it'll take a while to gel. A little tinkering in season two and we'll grab the 3rd automatic spot.
