I confidently placed £10 at 33/1 on Southend to win the league today.

Anyone else been sucked in by the odds?

How much do you think we have wasted between us on this bet this year?

Have stuck £20 on to get promoted at 10/1 which was a free bet for opening an internet account and am gonna put £20 on at 33/1!!! Will be rich come May!! Ker ching Ker ching!!!

Two bets essentially. In this case....

I've got £15 on us to get promoted (top 3 plus play-off winners) with Paddypower at 8/1. Particularly pleased with getting the play-off winner element in there... I think that's how we'll do it.

Also got £5 with Hills at 33/1 on the nose for the title. Don't think we'll do that, but I'd be kicking my sorry backside all the way down the A13 if I hadn't put a small wager on it if we do win the title!

The bookies must love League 1 and League 2. They have 24 x 2 sets of fans backing their own clubs and only have to pay out for 2 lots.
