Bit harsh, what do you mean doe Uncle Ron care? of course he cares, he allowed all of the best players to get better deals elsewhere, he allowed Bush to leave, he has undermined Tilly every inch of the way, he even gave us 2 tickets for £5 today, and like everything else that Ron does it was a total rip off. we threw in the towell at gillingham, today was just confirming the worst. Southend were shocking today and I felt sick watching. a very low point.

I can accept losing, i have been a Southend United supporter for long enough to remember, what i cannot accept is a team of Southend United players (i use the term losely) going out and giving in, to me that is cowardice.

I felt as though my guts were being ripped out by the Brighton supporters, it hurts a lot.

This is either the 7th or 8th time i've seen us relegated. The only other times i can recall us 'throwing in the towel' so to speak, was in 1996-97 and 1997-98. When we went down in 79-80 we kept the same squad and went straight back up next season as champions. No chance of that happening again.

quite right bilby, our promotion winning teams looked and had the body language and team spirit of winners the moment they came out of the dugout, this lot seemed resigned before the whistle is blown.
Its time for a rebuild.

What people have to remember is, they may have looked like they gave up but,

1. Most of them aren't good enough.
2. They haven't been paid, regularly all season.
3. Even if they are good enough, they would've been rested a few times this season at a club with a bigger squad size.

Say what you will but this is true.
