Hypocrisy at Wimbledon

I was wondering how this effects Kingstonian. Chelsea are buying the ground - it may be that Kingstonian are staying under a similar deal. Can't find anything to verify that online. Will have been known all along that Wimbledon were planning to return to Merton so I would assume Kingstonian would have been factored in.....

Apparently Wimbledon will pay a substantial amount to relocate Kingstonian elsewhere in Kingston.

They're only getting £2m from Chelsea for the leasehold. How much are they going to realistically offer up? And Kingston's not exactly brimming with facilities that'll be available when Kingstonian need them. Where are they going to rock up? Twickenham?

Regardless of the deal - and Kingstonian are apparently furious about the whole thing - it smacks of hypocrisy. And 98% of Wimbledon fans backed it! Didn't take long for league football to corrupt.

I did wonder how the numbers would stack up, and for just 2 m they would appear to be better off leasing it to Kingstonian....
I can only assume that the running costs of Kingsmeadow are prohibitively high at the moment and that they will work out to be sufficiently less new grounds.
Whatever the economics are, the morality of it stinks.
