After the game yesterday I was in my car listening to BBC Essex when they read out a message from a Col Ewe fan that really made me laugh.

It said that for next Saturday their chairman should consider allowing kids in for free and adults for a fiver. That way they could get 5-6000 in the ground!

:hilarious:

The only way they will get 5-6000 in that ground would be to pay the adults a fiver.

I heard, in The Far Post, before the game, (packed and loads waiting for drinks & service) a 40 something man ask for "a malibu and coke" which was followed by bemused thinking by him when told no malibu was available. There were a few titters while he spent 30 seconds of his, and the others waiting time, to decide on a red coloured cider thingy drink.
It certainly is "A funny old game".

Preston will have 2950 fans there so there may in fact be a half decent crowd in attendance.

Preston have sold out the away end, and been given a lot of the boxes as well
