Ian Atkins

HUTTON

just one thing i want to know,

why is it most of the time i here about southend Ian Atkins is envolved.
If he is trying to unsettle Eagle then he will have to try a lot harder why would he go to that club.
Moast of the time when i see southend have done this, done that his name pops up along the line.
He was even in the LDV final programme, wats a matter can't he handle no getting to cardiff.

Three words to Ian Atkins Get A Life

He could have been our manager you know....!

Maybe so... anyway I'm glad we didn't sign him, or maybe we'd be draw specialists and going nowhere like Bristol Rovers...!

how many games did they draw last season, wasn't it a record??

How Michael Husbands getting along up there?

Ian Atkins really winds me up but, at the end of the day, his just doing his job. By making his targets known publicly he increases the chance of unsettling the player in question, but at the same time makes other Clubs aware of the players' availability. Its a calculated risk that Atkins, and other managers take when they make their targets known, just ask Tilson who missed out on signing McGleish because he made it public and Northampton swooped in and thankfully took his away from us.

They drew 21 games last season... almost half their fixtures!

Not sure if it's a record though - I'm sure someone drew 22 or 23 games one season!!!

And they didn't drawn a League fixture with us, what with them beating us in August and us beating them in April.

He only made an enquiry for one of our players, I fail to see the problem.

Tilly isn't getting slated by the Rovers fans for trying to sign Agogo.
