Six points lost due to goals in additional time. :

1-1 Home to Peterborough. They scored in the 92 minute; Wordsworth earlier missed a penalty.

1-1 Home to Charlton. They scored in the 90th minute.

0-1 Home to Bolton. They scored in the 91st minute.

1-1 Away at Fleetwood. They scored in the 90th minute.


What would we give for those points now....?

Northampton away, Charlton away, Gillingham away, MK Dons at home. Four games where we failed to turn up and should have been looking at at least 6-8 points but came away with nothing.

That's football though, if we had a deeper and stronger squad then we would have got results there and would be looking at automatic promotion. But we don't, so fighting for the play-offs is where we deserve to be.

Maybe shocking is harsh but both of them example's, we where terrible performances

Even with the injuries we weren't shocking or even terrible. Charlton had 2 shots on target and one of them was an oggy. Yesterday our shooting was poor but we did hit the post a couple twice. There were a number of times the ball flashed across the box or was lose and no one got a touch. So we certainly pushed and created chances.

I'm sure almost every team in the League has similar 'bad luck' stories.
I'm sure a ref may have missed an obvious penalty against Millwall , leaving them with a paltry 78 awarded so far !

First 12 games killed us. Since then 57 points from 32 games which is 1.78 points per game, even with a few bad runs and performances thrown in, which every team has. (Sheff Utd at the start of the season, Bolton when we were supposed to play them)

Same sort of performance in the first 12 games would of given us an extra 9 points and we would be looking at chasing Bolton.

I never get this. Same goes for goals in the 32nd minute and 68th minute. All count the same.

True, it's just that a last gasp goal feels worse somehow. A team should be able to shut up shop with only a minute or two left.

Of course, Fergie's Man United turned late goals into a fine art.

See a stat today, stating that we have scored 21 goals in the final 15mins of games, more than anyone else
