I have been sent a BIG file which has completely blocked up my Incredimail inbox. (I use BTopenworld) I now have 400+ e-mails I can't get to which are all (probably) spam but you never know.
This file has had over 4 hours to download and still hasn't managed it...so... How can I delete this file so I can access the others?

Thanks chaps and chappettes!

You can ring BTOpenworld and ask them to remove the mail from the server. I have had this problem before, when someone with a virused machine sent me approximately 60 mails per day, each being 1MB. The person concerned claimed they didn't have a virus, however, after proof was provided they were quickly removed from the service by their ISP, and my ISP removed all mails directly from the server allowing my other mail through.

Hope that helps.

There is a way you can do it through TelNet, but I can't remember it at the moment ... unless someone alse knows?
