According to the current bun, we have amassed 132 shots with 60 being on target

We top the table by 5 with total shots and are 4 shots off top for on target.(takes L1 & L2 into account)

For a team that has scored 12 goals in the league this is pretty poor but Fleetwood , second with 127 have only scored ten.

MK Dons have scored 25 and don't even make the top ten which stops at 115 efforts.

Its quality not quantity as we all know and who knows what we would have scored with a half decent striker ?

Said it before and will say it again, there needs to be a shooting practise overhaul. As someone who watches training a lot, it's crying out for an ex top striker to come in and teach and correct them. Dave Penney sets up routines and passes or throws the ball to them, but never tells them where they went wrong as they shot miles wide or straight at the goalie. Weston and Coulthirst would particularly benefit from specialized striker coaching.

It could add a lot of goals this season, as the stats show they are getting the shots in. More goals would equate to more points. Could mean all the difference regarding promotion.

Why don't you have a little chat with Penney and point this out. If a person is never told how to correct the wrong, how can they make it right? We don't want to wait till next season for practice to make perfect! We need goals now!
