Thought they went full time when they were promoted
Ah fair dos. Hands up, I didn't realise.
My point remains, while not throwing shade on how well Braintree have done.

I quite like the idea of our chairman slumped in the corner of the Railway at closing time slurring along to A Rainy Night in Soho after a humiliating defeat. Or Tom Waits’ version of Waltzing MatildaI'd personally prefer not to see any of the exec team out on the lash with us being in this position.

Sorry but that's absolutely ridiculous. The game was well over and he can do what he wants, he isn't working. What has the world come to when people think they can tell others what they should or shouldn't be doing in their own personal time.
We all love luggy, and he saved us big time.Yup i remember Luggy's first game. Back in League2 and it was an awful watch. I remember just sitting there thinking this is so depressing.
Molesleys was worse. Every game set up to try and not lose, then by some miracle nick a goal. EVERY GAME.I thought the teams under Gary Waddock and Lord Moseley were worse than this lot but not by much.
People always have a kind of nostalgic view on the past which is a lot of the time just human nature remembering the good times only and blocking our the bad.
I remember being two divisions higher playing the likes of Cheltenham at home and losing) in front of 3000 fans and trust me that felt a lot worse than now.
Personally I would sooner he was himself than exhibit any false or pretentious impression that goes against his nature. At the end of the day he is an Aussie, enjoys a beer with 'his' teams fans on a match day. He makes himself available and doesn't hide behind security.Sorry but that's absolutely ridiculous. Tbh the football damatically improved and i was a fan of Luggy and recognised his mammoth effort to save that team. Just the beginning and the whole standard of L2 back then, uurrghWe all love luggy, and he saved us big time.
But more often then not most on here were critical of the defensive way he set us up, saying its boring etc, a classic example of what @Paulie Walnuts was saying about glossing things over.

Thank you an awful lot of common sense and reality. To answer the original question, unsurprisingly is yes.
We have been under transfer embargoes for most of the last 2 seasons, we had a takeover that only went through when the league tried to make the club pay 1M to start the season.
We couldn't sign players when the best were available, our first choices all went elsewhere.
The club was massively in debt and remains totally unsustainable, to ensure we have a club for the future we need to keep our powder dry for when the right players for this club are available, right now they aren't and knee jerk reactions get you the likes of Greg Halford or Jacob Mellis.
There needs to be some patience from the fanbase, we have had a takeover but we have a legacy to deal with.
Agreed Molesley's team was the worst, the biggest problem for Kev is we all thought that this season we'd have a real good chance of promotion and getting back into the league and it seems to have fallen apart very quickly, in charge since Oct 21 and this is in my opinion his first real test, and hope he comes through itMolesleys was worse. Every game set up to try and not lose, then by some miracle nick a goal. EVERY GAME.
Not in a single one of his games in charge did I ever think we would come back once we'd conceded a goal.
