As a side issue - ITV football coverage and "highlights" are awful when compared to both BBC and Sky !!

Their defender in front of Hurst before the free kick is taken looks nervously over the shoulder and then moves up field when the kick is delivered. You cannot see other players' positions though but I still think trying to flay offside from a free kick in that position was a bit exotic.

Absolutely awful coverage, including the commentator-- no mention of the fact we did not deserve to be 2-0 down, or tat least show/mention the best chance--- 45 seconds- crap

The brentford defence had pushed up well beyond this defender making the offside trap pointless

It was close, as in was it 4 or 5 yards offside and were there 4 or 5 players offside too! After following the Blues for 43 years it the first "goal" I have not celebrated because I was waiting for it to be disallowed.

There's not an awful lot they can show in 45 seconds other than the goals is there?!

On an aside, best wishes to the young defender from Derby who suffered a very nasty leg break in their game.
