Probably not. I'd imagine one would be on the bench and would come on to freshen up the attack

It’s difficult to compare as they play different roles.

We’ve certainly possibly got more value out of Hyde than Wrexham have out of Dalby.

(I thought this would be clear cut as he’s yet to start for them but on closer review he looks to have earnt them 3 points when came on with them 1-0 down after 77 minutes to Oldham and they won 2-1. Hyde’s goals have won us 2 points but that’s an incredibly crude way of measuring worth)

I don’t think Dalby would have scored 4 in 5 for us but he’d have likely been available every game. In 15 games he’d have maybe 5 goals. I think we’d have got more out of the early games with him still in the side. We looked a bit disjointed without him there to link play but then I’m not sure how he’d have fitted in with Mooney.

We’re probably up on the deal though as we needed the money and would we have been able to sign Łopata otherwise?

OK I was a big doubter of his commitment etc after his 9 minute debut but happy for anyone to send me the recipe please for Humble Pie!
Is really starting to show his worth to the side and hope his goal scoring run continues - if it does then no telling where we might end up!!

I was also a critic of the deal with Wrexham and his subsequent injury after 10 mins.

However I think I remember saying I'd be very happy to be proven wrong and I'm glad he's producing for SUFC. I'll gladly continue to eat my words if he keeps scoring and keeps fit.
