Jake Hyde

Crazy gamble anyone signing him, his injury record was horrendous before we bizarrely decided to get him in on loan for the season and it's only got worse since then. Very strange for any team to be willing to risk an actual contract with him all things considered. You'd imagine it has to be very cheap otherwise who on earth would be that irresponsible with their recruitment.
All very true. I would think Jake will be responsible for his own fitness and be pay/play linked. Also he may train predominantly on his own with just a few team mandatory sessions. This is either madness or inspired.

If that goal of his vs Wrexham had stood though.. and we’d made the play offs .. he’s a quality player but as you say is rarely fit. Hope both him and Murphy get a run of games at Yeovil. Best of luck to them.

You can't look at things like that unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. What if the goal went in and then Wrexham went straight down the other end and scored? Is he a quality player? I have no idea, he's barely played for anyone in years. Best of luck to them, I agree but there's no way they'll play many games, mainly Hyde.

I can see it now, they'll probably start quite well and some fans will be moaning we let them go etc etc but they'll soon be injured.

Scored his first Yeovil goal in their 2-0 victory over Newport County last night.

Listened to him being interviewed on the Rob Ryan Red Wrexham podcast (soz don’t know how to post a link to it).
Both him and the interviewer very complimentary about us.
Revealed Phil Brown tried to sign him the season we went down to the NL and we were well in front in the race until Wrexham came in.
Daz Currie persuaded him to join us.
Still owed money by the club as we were paying his bonuses (didn’t say what these bonuses were for).

Well worth a listen

FAO of those wondering why we’re still in an embargo.
