Has been released by Mansfield. Would welcome him to Roots Hall, even though we have got Thompson permanently. Experienced at this level, played many times for Port Vale. We need at least one more defender in my opinion

Mutual consent, and to free up wages. Calvin Andrew (you may rememeber him for the two footed tackle on one of our players in our 3-0 victory earlier this season) has also been released by them. Same reasons.
