Just took the 66/1,

wiggy

Darryl's Love Child
bering in mind a dreadful start with the wrong two strikers.Only six points off the pace and bookies are offering just over 16/1 just to finish in the top three and the bonus of the 66/1 should we happen to win it. Team now looks full of effort and strong in all departements but would like to see another striker bought in to compliment Tes and Laurie. Smithy to come back as well, the normally pessimistic Wiggy is starting to like the look of the way things are shaping so get yourselves an added interest and snap up these suprisingly generous odds!

*almost falls off his chair in surprise*

I'm sure you had us nailed-on for relegation a little over a month ago...

Had 150 quid each way, returns 2 grand 6 ton and 25 quid, 2nd or 3rd and 12 grand 6 ton and 75 quid should a miracle happen!

They were nailed on for relegation but if you care to remember the reson for this were the names Gray, Griemink and Broughton, then Tilly spotted it!

You almost had me convinced... but then I remembered, you are fundamentally a bit of a numpty.

Sorry pal, but that's bang out of order. Not only did Tilly not "spot" that something was wrong with Bart-man, but he also had been playing extremely well up to the point at which he got injured.

Get a grip.

Matt

What? Tilly arranged for Griemink to get injured?

"I could see what was wrong before everyone else... and finally Tilson saw what I always knew!"

The ego has certainly landed.

I woz at rusden wen bart got injured, n he woz very brave. Also at lincoln wen we got a point, he was sensational n got that point, single-handedly, well wiv bents n the ref 2

Not particuarly saying that about Bart as he has done o.k but still not 100% convinced about him. The other two definately make our team look worse, no ego been saying it ever since the friendlies.

I was at Rushden and if he had come off his line quicker and not hesitated then may be the injury would not have occured!

You will note that I didn't mention the other two...

And if you're not saying it about Bart, why include him? As others have said, he was magnificent at Lincoln, for example...

For the first time on Saturday, other than the Dagenham friendly, I found myself thinking that Gray actually looked to have something about him. Then he decided to dive horribly, instead of being brave and going in with the keeper when he came charging off his line.

I'm sorry, but from my memory that is cr&p. He was straight off of his line and made an extremely brave save, and one that Flahavan would most certainly NOT have made. However, Flahavan has impressed since coming into the side and Tilly will have a tough choice when Bart is fit again as to who he chooses to wear the gloves.

Excuse me but what a load of bollox!
Is this the same Wiggy whose first post was along the lines of "Ron Martin has f***** this club and yur all muppets cos you can't see it and we're gonna get relegated and ron martin is a muppet and yur all muppets"

Now we win 4 out of 5 and you've got us down for promotion!?

Wiggy, I'd say I was surprised but I'm not. You were fickle then, you're fickle now and I suspect if we lose a few in a row later this season (as I'm sure we will at some stage) you'll be fickle once more.

Is this the same gentleman who also staked £300 on our relegation, not so long ago... now that IS what I call hedging your bets!

Looks like both lots will be wasted if you ask me!

Neither bets count for winning via the play-offs!

You just don't get it! We would still be in the sh*t if Tilly had persisted with donkey Broughton and disinterested Gray. That has changed and i now think we are a match for anyone in this mediocre league. As was posted the relegation bet was never struck but perhaps you could tell me what odds you think we are for promotion!

What's that worth post-decimalisation please?
