Ooh, talking about Shoot! has just given me a flashback to those little pieces of cards that we used to do the league tables.... :D

Ooh simpler times before computers.....

At least 8 of the Conference teams - I can't read them all - are in or have been in the league. And I believe I'm right in saying that the new version of Enfiled play in the Essex Senior League. Although that is complete and utter garbage because they don't

I agree, these were great but never lasted long due to the board ripping or the tabs actually bending and breaking.

Indeed they do - Enfield 1893 are top of the ESL at the moment.
 
In addition to Enfield, Runcorn, Maidstone, Aldershot and Scarborough have all folded and subsequently reformed.... only the club replacing Maidstone retained it's original name.
 
I used to hate the league ladders (Yes, I used to buy Shoot! and Match when I was younger). They were a funny kite-sort (bits with the team names on) of shape and if you shoved it into the slot too hard, would bend in half, so would be knackered. Pain in the ****, they were!
