Did not know he had one bout in the pro ring - lost to a complete journeyman.

I remember when he had that fight. He was following in the footsteps of others who gave it a crack like Leon McKenzie and Curtis Woodhouse. The latter were far more successful than Roget though.
 
I remember Freddie Flintoff on radio talking about his one fight (which he won). He got knocked down but got up. The referee asked him "What's your name?" (In case you don't know, a ref' will always ask a simple question as a check for concussion). Freddy tells the story - "I had my gumshield in, all I could say was "Fuggu Fugfug". The referee said "That'll do!"
 
He’s a PT and has been for years now. Was playing non league but he made enough money at Stockport to be comfortable back then.
