Look out Tilly!

We narrowly escaped embarrassment when Tilly failed to get keeper cover earlier in the season and I can see it happening again. Will we be so lucky this time? Tilly has stated that he has no need to sign any more players and that he is more than happy with the squad he has got. So am i when it is fully fit. There are reports that smith and corbett are injured, along with prior and edwards. That puts hunt into the back four and bentley into the middle. Cool. And who do we have on the bench? Little Nicky, a couple of strikers, a keeper and stuart williams perhaps. That is lean. One more injury in the midfield or defence and what then? Injuries and suspensions will play their part in our fortunes this season as in any other. Lets be prepared.

I does seem that the number of injuries in the last week or two, has taken the shine off of an otherwise fully fit squad (at least it was close to fully fit when Jay Smith had 80 minutes in a friendly recently!).

Thankfully, I think Prior and Edwards will be short term, Corbett is only bit part at the moment and as for Jay Smith? this is currently an unconfirmed rumour, from an unknown source and needs ratification.

I don't think Tilson or Brush will do anything just yet!
