Manager
Wasn’t that something to do with the previous manager who was subsequently sacked? Unfortunately we will almost certainly be without Noor for those two games.Haven’t they gone on strike the Afghanistan team?

It will be such a shame if we go and lose that game comfortably because we don't have two of our best players available. Everyone will just assume Chesterfield are much better than us and the result was always on the cards. We'll all know it's because the bulk of our midfield was missing. One possible hurdle to overcome. Assuming Noor Husin is selected for Afghanistan, he will miss the Chesterfield and Wealdstone games. He will be playing against Qatar on the 16th and Kuwait on the 21st. Not helpful to us , but great for Noor.
To take on Chesterfield and Wealdstone without both Cav and Noor will be difficult.
We can do anyone and anything when we are at rootshall we will just need to make this a fan backed game to rememberIt will be such a shame if we go and lose that game comfortably because we don't have two of our best players available. If we go into the game without Miley and Husin, against Banks and Naylor, we've got huge problems. As I say, such a shame because we can definitely get a result against any team if we had our starting 11 available.
I really don't see a deal happening the day before the game with the vote literally taking place that day. I'm sure it will take even longer after that vote. So the hope of some players coming in before that fixture is probably a pipe dream unfortunately. All we can do is give a good account of ourselves like normal.
Yes, guess he could well be recalled, Charlton played a second string and (off topic) but weren't we lucky our victory against Man U. was made more special by Rooney and Ronaldo gracing RH.Anyone else watching the Charlton FA Cup tie on TV this evening and getting worried about Charlton recalling Kanu once his initial 28 day loan expires? Campbell went off injured and that in addition to the striker they lost last Saturday. I know Kev said that Kanu is with us till January but I thought he could be recalled at any time once 28 days were up.
You can't compare cup games.I don't think many fans will expect us to beat Chesterfield, and they beat Portsmouth today. Pompey had not been defeated since March and are top of League One so that's no mean achievement by the Spireites.
Mind you, strange results do happen. Yesterday Swindon fans must have thought they were hallucinating when they found themselves after an hour 7 goals down against Aldershot. Even the final score 4-7 takes some believing.

Chesterfield have a bigger, stronger, in depth squad and have been able to make changes, rest players and use subs. They have scored many goals late on in games and seem to react wel, if they go behind.
Yes they will, likely, be champs this season, BUT are not, imo better than us IF it is best 11 v best 11.
I watched the 2nd half. Pompey were toilet - was it their first team playing?
Blimey - they played so badly I thought they'd brought in a few fringe players - didn't look like they'd played together beforeIt was indeed. In fact it was exactly the same starting eleven as their previous L1 match v Reading which they won 3-2.
Gateshead seem to have got over losing their manager and are scoring plenty. Solihull seem disunited but have some good players. Both are, imo, over achieving at present. I can't see them making higher than 7th at the end of season. Our next game now is Saturday - away at Gateshead.
Gateshead are 6th in the league & they play the team in 5th - Solihull Moors on Tuesday evening.
It will be interesting to see how these two teams fare, yes?
