To be honest, with so many players deflated and unsure of their futures because of the financial situation I think we will benefit. I don't see it being a case of the players playing for their futures which is always the other argument. Let's hope I am not wrong. Southend 5 - 1 Macclesfield.

Cant see it. A team who hasnt won in 21 games are suddenly not going to turn up and look like Brazil. Most will be thinking of their holidays or their next club.
 
If they could survive they may have reacted to a new manager coming in but they are already down and dont see any positive for them.

Brian Horton was effectively the new manager and could do nothing to change their fortunes. They have finished bottom for a reason and if we don't win it will be purely down to us not them.
