Not that many years ago we were playing them either! I've been to their ground!

I visited their ground, but have never seen them play.

It was the match between Chester and us. We were giving Keith Bertschin a load of stick throughout the match. Needless to say, Chester won 1-0 with a last minute winner and we received our comeuppance!

We went to a pub a little walk away beforehand, wasn't really too worried about facilities there!

Likely the same pub we also went to, open fire, good beer etc. When we got turned away from Macc ground Ron Martin was there and got the home head steward to give us the directions etc. Ron did us "average Joe" fans a good turn that day and showed a bit of good spirit too.

The game up there (04/05) when Alan McCormack scored two late goals to win us the game was great. Trying to get served in a local pub after that wasn't quite as easy...
