Robert Murat is still a "suspect" and there is no evidence that he had anything to do with it, apart from one over zealous journo who's probably ruined his life.

The entire affair is one big balls up and the portugeuse police are laughable. This latest update screams of desperation.
 
I'm not sure on this but isn't the bit about Forensic tests by the uk police important to the new developments.

I find that a bit confusing - so traces of the girl's blood have been found in the McCann's apartment. My daughter is clumsy as hell and will inevitably end up bleeding from her knees at least once a week. So, God forbid, if she ever disappeared and traces of her blood were found in my house, would I be a suspect?

Can't they date and (more or less) time when blood may have been spilled, and haven't there been forensic tests taken of the McCann's hire car too. As many, the whole thing just hasn't added up from the start. And if they are not guilty (and as yet there seemsno specific evidence that they are), they should sure as hell be charged with neglect on their return to Britain. As the "Home Alone" single parents are charged with leaving their 12 and 13 year old kids at home while they swan off on holiday for a week. But then, they are chavs single parent chavs aren't they, not respectable middle class, middle England doctors.

I haven't seen any report that says they have identified the blood as being from the girl.
 
Maybe I watch too much CSI, but I found this quote VERY interesting on Sky News.

They are reporting that Kate McCann is now on her way back to the police station where she shall be named as a suspect - but the quote from her 'friend' is the interesting part:-

"...But a family friend said: "They are treating Kate McCann as if she is involved in some way in the death of her daughter."..."

Didnt think anyone had found a body yet!!! :confused:
 
I think the big question on everyone's lips is??? Is she alive or dead?

Personally for it to go this long without nothing she has to be dead. But we won't know untill something is found.

Ask Ronaldo - in his spare time he's a lawyer, defending the innocent against the corrupt Portugeuse crime family, the Crickosia who have fingers in the legal systems all around the world and torture their victims by subjecting them to barrages of puns until their brains leak into their ears.

Absolutely agree with that.

Sadly & realistically the poor lass I would suggest the poor lass is dead in a ditch somewhere close to where she was abducted from.
