Just been confirmed that he will be out for another 2-3 weeks and had 8 injections to get through the game. Was apparently in agony come the end of the game. HERO!

Great to hear we have these sort of players! With Cresswell back from his suspension it will help.

Well played MP - not his best game by a long chalk (and understandably so), but to make himself available and give 100% in this cotton wool age of football is refreshing and appreciated by me as a humble fan. I think we could well have been screwed without him last night.

Undoubtedly. And there's the poor wee lamb Wayne Rooney, on his huge wage packet, out this weekend with a sinus problem!

This news doesnt surprise me. It showed last night. I thought he was our poorest player. Top man for putting himself up for it though.

We did need him as we was short on defence, but when I saw his name was on teamsheet, I was happy! Now have an nice rest and get fit before end of the march!

Walked with him and a few others after Chameleon down towards the casino, he was limping and in a bad way - absolute hero to play through the pain barrier. Actually thought he had a very decent game too (first goal aside), loved his tackle when he took one for the team.

What a hero - nice rest of now for the next few weeks with Cresswell back from his ban. Allows him time to get himself fit for the promotion push
