Hull win against Birmingham. Windass scores 2, Ray Parlour makes a significant contribution on his debut. Both of these players signed within the last month or so. Parlour still trains with ****nal and travels to hull for matches only. If he was with us he could train with the rest of the team.
Will our inactivity in the January window prove to be our downfall?

To be honest wouldn't want either of them if we had a fully fit squad, we didn't know all these injuries would happen at the end of january and if we had them their wages would be ridiculous for a club of our stature.

Fair point, but surely you should make allowances for possible injuries and gamble the wage bill on what it will cost if we go down

Why the hell does he train with ****nal?!?!?

He is a Middlesbrough player, has been for about 4 years

Cos he lives in Brentwood and doesnt want to move. Apparently if youve played for ****ne Wenger you can always go back.

It may be our temporary downfall this season, but it certainly will not be the financial downfall 3 or 4 three year contracts @ 6k a week would lead to .......

Henry who ? Henry fcuking Cooper ???:D

am i the only bloke who think henry is a complete ****?? i hate seeing that prat hugging only adabayor and hogging the ball... yes he scores some excellent goals and on his day is the best player in the prem but this season he has just come over a right banker!

Don't talk so negatively about Tilly, he has done everything he could to secure our future by offloading timewasters like Jay Smith so we could run on a shoestring and bring on the big guns Prior, Wilson and lethargic Hunt!

You're not Mrs Jay Smith by any chance are you?

Not too bothered about Windass, but interesting to note that Parlour is on a pay-as-you-play contract with Hull.

Don't think anybody can fault Tilson for not trying, but I think we need to look at our wage structure.

Is that the Jay Smith who has picked up 19 points in 18 games for Notts County in the 4th division? Maher, McCormack and Hunt have meanwhile picked up 20 points in their last 18 games TWO division higher!

That's relevant, not!

come on Wiggy, Jay was given his chance and looked so behind the pace it was untrue. So he's great in league 2. Fantastic. the relevance being---none

Given a chance when? Two complete midfield flops were given his chance!

sigh. If he's so bloody good, why has he ended up at Notts County? i didn't exactly notice a string of clubs fighting for his signature when it became clear we were going to let him go.
