Hang on, there were two or three idiots that posted Sh**e from my club. You cannot tar everyone with the same brush.

I saw a post on here that was racist and insulting to all Orient fans.Anyone with a brain knows that not all Shrimper fans are like minded.

There is a difference between a few morons and a mob of morons.

Brighton for example are not my favourite cuppa tea.
One year we were all behind them with the Archer out campaign, some even going to their ground at the Fans day.The next yearm they invaded the pitch and attacked our players.Followed by 2 or 3 games when 100s of them were creating havoc at our ground

It's got to be the maroon baboons. My weekend is always so much better when they lose. And the joy of last years playoff final. Glorious.
I can't think why anyone can hate Orient. A decent club and as far as I'm concerned until the invention of the PC no trouble or animosity between the fans.
Col U are and always will be a conference club albeit at present over performing..

Yet again people seem to think that we have a historical rivalry with West Ham - Time to wake up and smell the coffee again. We don't, we never have and even if we get into the Premier$hite/Championship one day we never will do. Most hamsters would laugh at the very idea and rightly so.

Rivals always have been and always will be Col Ewe and quite rightly there is a form of hatred on both sides.

Rivals never used to be but now are Canvey. I don't personally hate them and (despite their management arrangements) I have a massive respect for their progress over the last 10 years.

Orient is a nice localish derby with an opportunity for some of the usual pre-post match banter. Certainly no need that I can see to hate them.

Hated teams other than Col Ewe are all probably for personal reasons. I would have Brighton in that list purely because my old dear has never forgiven them for denting her car roof as they rampaged at the same time she was driving home from shopping on one Saturday afternoon a few years back after we had turned them over nicely.

There's something about Sc**thorpe (other than the name) that I can't stand but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Indeed. I know many people hate them for varying reasons but I don't think they could ever been seen as a "rival". Certainly not historically. I remember many West Ham fans coming to Roots Hall to watch Southend play when we used to turn out regularly on Friday nights ...

This thread is most hated, not biggest rivalry. I don't see West Ham as rivals, I just hate what seems to be a majority of their Essex fans for being such condescending scum. I hate Manure for the same reason and I certainly don't consider them to be rivals.

Besides, what's wrong with hating a club with the arrogance to open a club shop in our town?

I have gone for Brighton for personal reasons that I live there and their fans are withoit dobut the most pig headed fans of any poxy club I have ever seen. They lived off the "famous " Bobby Z for about 3 seasons and since then have done nothing to even think of them selves as a "big club"

Hate Orient for tiem being but only as they are both pikies and in the same divison but find it hard to them forever as they are too pathetic.

West ham like to see lose as I do Canvey but due to sizes neither are in my mind rivals as such more like local teams.

Whereabouts in Brighton? I'm in Hove Actually and agree about some of their fans, though I know some decent ones too. Do you ever drive back for games, and would you fancy splitting the petrol money? I'm dying to get back to the hall more often but it's about 3 hours each way on the trains! You can PM me if you prefer.

Spot on. I hate Man U as well. Rivals? We've never played them. Rivalry has nothing to do with it.
I'm not too fond of Canvey either.

I guess it's strange really, but for me with Col Ewe, Borient, Canvey etc. it's more about good natured banter than hatred. I've got far more time for any fan who's made the same decision we have to support their local club than for glory hunters who couldn't point to "their" club on a map. I work with a Col Ewe fan (in Hove!) and in spite of winding each other up about the LDV games and relative league positions I would say, or rather whisper it quietly here, that he's a good bloke.

It's Col Ewe for me. Feel too sorry for the O's to actually hate them and couldn't really give a monkey's about Wet Sham.

Most hated has to be Newcastle currently for certain statements their chairman made. Really made me angry still not over it and was so happy to see Chelsea stuff them, love to see them get relegated and then see Mr Shepards view!!!! Hate them!

Who said anything about rivalry?  I HATE West Ham United FC!  The reasons for my hatred of them include playgound fights as a kid in Pitsea standing up for the Shrimpers, listening to their crap about how they are the academy of football and how they are a big club, the arrogance of the club in opening their shops in Southend, their patronising manner to clubs like us (and Orient I suppose).

While I don't hate individual West Ham fans simply because of their allegiance, it wouldn't be something I'd want to discuss with them.  As a body though I hate the club, the area, the fans and the dualled colours of claret and blue...

Rivals; perhaps not but I think I've answered the question "Most Hated?"

after my first away game at col ewe i was a bit shaken as i was not a million miles away from ginger, those bastards are animals.

canveys little boys throwing stones at our bus and some poor young lad getting glass in his eye.

Wet Sham & Celtic is down to sibling rivalry.

Can't think of a reason to hate the teams of brighton and borient but some of there fans are w***ers

For some reason-probably down to my age I've always detested Watford. As a kid I seem to always remember them coming to Roots Hall in the 60s with people like Sammy Chung,Pat Jennings,Cliff Holton and normally a handful of Tottenham rejects and spoiling our fun.We might have been on a little Cup Run or won 2 or 3 on the trot in the league and along would come Watford with quite a few supporters and burst our balloon.

No!!!! I hate that more than any club.

Biggest rivals: Col Ewe.

Most hated: MK Dons - for what they represent, which is everything that is wrong about modern football, greed, franchising, television & entertainment revenue over community.

Also loathe Birmingham, for (a) the Judas Fry incident; (b) David Gold, the sleazy porn merchant; (.c) their fans, oafish Brummy tw@ts.

West Ham fans who look down their noses at everyone and say "we won the World Cup" (no you didn't, you c**ts; England did) are extremely deserving of our opprobrium - as are their South London rivals, Millwall - many of whom remain violent bigots.

Why should we hate Orient? Whether we like it or not, we are remarkably similar to them at the moment...
