Question Most non-descript Blues XI ever.

Right - Using Robins fantastic SUFC database plus my own grey matter I have assemebled a starting eleven of the most non descript players ever.

These are players that have made a decent number of games for the Blues yet never really seemed to either be loved or loathed by the fans.

GK - Steve Collis

RB - Darryl Sutch ( Sorry XXXXXL Wherever you are)
LB - Neil Jenkins
CB - Steve Broad
CB - Simon Coleman

RW - Jimmy Corbett
LW - Adrian Clarke
CM - Jonny Cornwall
CM - Leon Johnson

AT - Neil Tolson
AT - Alex Burns.

Now if you loved or hated any of the above then cut and paste my team takign out the player in question. However you have to replace them with a more non-descript / no feelings either way type player.

Hopefully by the end of this we will have a team of totally pointless players from the Blues history.

I remember always liking Dangerous Dave - wasn't he constantly played as a striker because we had no one else - yet he never scored!! In fact I'm fairly sure the only goal I ever saw him score was against us for Macclesfield!

Where to start.....Did kind of say players that have played a bit for us which rules out Kerrigan and Feeney. Dont think many people didnt like Ben Abbey at the time - Seem to recall he had his own chant and everything, In comparisson I ****ing hate Sankofa as a player and he is certainly not non descipt to me. End of.

to add to that, i completely despised Morley. some of the worst defensive performances i've ever seen from a professional footballer.

Fair enough, my opinion on each of the guys I put up comes with a shrug of the shoulders and a resounding "Meh!"

Some players names lend themselves to chants. Even the "great" Yemi Abiodun had his own chant. Scared him to death the first time he heard it I recall.
