MPs Expenses

4 grands not that much when you think of the rise in price of Mars bars last year.

i know this might be an unpopular view, but the salaries that key mp's / the prime minister earn are far too low compared to the md's of even mid size companies. Therefore I feel that they should be entitled to this, or at least a pay rise, given the risk involved in the jobs.

Compare:

Prime Minister salary £187611
Chancellor of Exchequor salary £136677

Bear in mind that these two people are responsible for the country as a whole...

to:

Avereage C.E.O. pay in top 500 companies is £600,000 http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cach...tion.html+ceo+salary&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=uk

Surely a few quid expenses (in the scale of things) is understandable (although should be put straight on their pay packet).

(prepares to be negative repped for this...)
