Brennan Camp is the most interesting name on the Eastleigh list. If Demi isn’t going to continue playing that’s the type of player I’d look to get in to build up the depth. He’s a good age (23), has decent experience at this level, is versatile. Once he’s over his injury he might be an astute signing.

I mentioned a few months back that we had a small squad compared to others and at one stage the top 10 sides had larger squads than us. Its interesting to see the numbers involved in these release figures, especially the size of some squads and number of loanees used.

Rochdale for example listed 8 loanees returning to their clubs. Four of the other teams above returned 4 or 5 loanees

whilst the above releases probably contain a number of youngsters? 7 of the 8 teams above average a squad of a smidgeon under 30. How do they afford it?

No wonder Kev expressed a recognition that we were a tad light !
