Have we enough players for a 5 a side game on Monday when the players return to Pre season training?
 
I wonder if NH was paid up to date, if not then I would not be surprised to see another legal case in the offing as he now has no affiliation with SUFC and is not hoping on a new contract offer (unlike others) - unless of course the 'fan' in NH won't allow this.

As an aside, I wish NH well in all his future endeavors as he seems like a very ecent man, it's just a shame that it didn't work out better for both him and SUFC.
 
You'd hope the mutual consent statement signifies all is agreed between both parties unless of course the Club have yet to fulfill their side of the bargain in order to make that mutual consent statement stand.
 
Just had a text from a mate who is good friends with Harris. I text him to ask if he knew about today's news:


Yes, he told me last week that he wouldn't play again and that he had been offered a coaching roll elsewhere. He was sorting out the financial side with the club this week. He said that he spoke to Ron last Saturday, who he said just spoke at him, he did say ground was close to starting.
No chance of any of the players out of contract signing as all really ****ed off with club.
Apparently players under contract have been paid but those out of contract/ leaving haven't.
Said that he had never played anywhere like it, think he will be glad to be out of it as he was Pfa rep.
I do wonder if its a ploy to get players out so pb can get his players in.

Exactly!. Nothing against the guy, but shocking piece of business to give him a 3 year contract in the first place?. And the 'powers to be' call themselves businessmen?. Hmmmmm

Why was it shocking? He would not have come here on a one year deal , and we have only paid him for two years not two. I alluded to something like this happening when he signed . Everyone just always assumes the worst. post 157. The fact is through injury we are no longer going to be paying him .
